Welcome to Motor-RI. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Motor-RI website, mobile access, and vehicle rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility To use our services, you must:
• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Possess a clean driving history and active insurance
• Comply with all applicable local and state laws Motor-RI reserves the right to verify your eligibility at any time.

3. Reservations & Payments

Reservations and Payments All bookings must be completed through our online platform or by direct contact with our team. Prices, deposits, mileage limits, and return conditions are clearly stated before final confirmation. Late returns, fuel shortages, or damage may result in additional fees.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and Refunds Customers may cancel a reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a partial charge. No-shows are non-refundable.

5. Vehicle Use Policy

Vehicle Use Requirements You agree to operate Motor-RI vehicles responsibly.
The following is strictly prohibited:
• Smoking in the vehicle • Unauthorized drivers operating the vehicle
• Use of the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs Any violation may result in immediate termination of the rental and liability for damages.

6. Insurance & Liability

Insurance and Liability All renters are required to carry active personal auto insurance. Motor-RI may offer optional damage waivers or liability coverage at booking. You remain responsible for damage, loss, or third-party claims arising during your rental unless covered by additional protection purchased through Motor-RI.

7. Limitation of Liability

Limitation of Liability Motor-RI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or vehicle. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, missed flights, or personal losses due to vehicle malfunction or delays.

8. Indemnification

Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Motor-RI, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal fees resulting from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.

9. Modification of Terms

Modification of Terms Motor-RI reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Governing Law & Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Los Angeles County, California for the resolution of any disputes.

11. Entire Agreement

Entire Agreement These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Motor-RI concerning the use of our website and rental services, superseding all prior communications or agreements.

12. Privacy & SMS Communication Policy

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Motor-RI for booking updates, confirmations, and account-related communications. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. For help, reply HELP or contact support@motor-ri.com. Your information is stored securely and used only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable TCR regulations.

Motor-RI’s texting program complies with The Campaign Registry (TCR) requirements through RingCentral. All customer data and consent records are managed in accordance with carrier and CTIA guidelines.
